Pen/pencil, notebook paper,

Pipe Trades Pro calculator (optional but recommended)

Class Description:

This course is designed to bring students up to speed in piping math and learn to fully utilize their Pipe Trades Pro (PTP) calculator as well as properly dimensioning an isometric drawing. Get help with learning anything from basic arithmetic to advanced trigonometry. Instructor will work with students individually to help them in whatever areas they are struggling with.

Students will
• Personalized class with individual interaction with an instructor
• Refresh their math skills
• Calculate rolling and compound rolling offsets
• Calculate equal spread and unequal spread offsets
• Use PTP calculator to it’s full abilities
• Determine water pressures and other functions using a PTP
• Find angles of oblique triangles
• Learn tube bending math
• Convert measurements between metric and imperial
• Find take-offs of any angle fitting
• Utilize circle geometry in piping systems
• Isometric drawings

Class Cancellations: If this class has less than 6 students registered at the close of registration the class may be canceled. If the class is cancelled, you will be notified via email and any fees paid will be refunded to the original payment method.

A Note on State Credits: State Credit will only be earned for courses that have been approved by the state. If a class is approved for credit, it will be noted in the class description. To receive state credit for a class you must attend all hours of the class. Courses are approved by the state for a fixed number of credit hours. These hours cannot be edited when submitting license numbers for credit.
