About this courseIt is no secret that patient experiences with Imaging modalities can have negative associations. From anxiety before the appointment, to waiting at the location, to being immersed within the equipment, the patient is typically entering into a process that is foreign to them and creates an unhealthy aura. Designers, Engineers, Equipment Vendors and Owners can all have an impact on how we can help to provide an experience that emphasizes comfort, care, and confidence to the patient. The ultimate goal is to remove the obstacles and provide a better opportunity for healthy living. This session will explore the design challenges we face, review successful project examples, discuss new Imaging technologies to be considered, and how to integrate all three.
