When will sessions be announced?

The session selection will be announced on April 7th. A sign up form will be sent to each attendee.

Question 2

What if I only want to go to 1 session?

Accepted Answer

You are more than welcome to just attend one session. However, we are not offering pro-rated tickets for this event. So you will be charged the full $20.

Question 3

Will there be gluten free, vegan, and/or vegetarian options for lunch?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You will be asked about any dietary restrictions when you purchase your ticket, and the Culinary Academy will make sure we have everyone's needs met!

Question 4

Why is childcare at another location?

Accepted Answer

2 reasons! Because this allows parents an opportunity to mingle and learn in a child-free environment without distractions. AND because we struggled to find a venue that could host all the adult and child breakout sessions.
The B&G Club is 1.8 miles from the Culinary Academy.

Question 5

Do these trainings count towards my annual licensing hours?

Accepted Answer

Yes! After the conference, we will send certificates for each training completed that you can forward to your homes licensing worker to count towards recertification.

Question 6

Can I attend if I am not currently licensed? Or have never been licensed in Clark County?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! If you have foster or adopted anywhere, and are wanting to learn more and connect with other foster and/or adoptive parents, you are welcome to join us! Or if you work in child welfare! Or if you just want to learn more about our community! All are welcome!
