Join us for our monthly free Family Workshop on Saturday, April 8th at 1:00 p.m. at the East Los Angeles Library.

***Beginning April 2023, our Family Workshops will take place on second Saturdays of the month at the East Los Angeles County Library, inside the Community Room.***On Saturday, April 8, at 1:00 p.m., we welcome Teaching Artist Moni Perez, who’ll lead a Gelli Plate Printing workshop at the East Los Angeles County Library. Participants will gain an understanding of how to use gel plates for image transfers, to create their own unique artworks. Using acrylic paint, gel plates, organic textures and a magazine cut out, participants will learn the steps of rolling paint onto a gel plate, placing the magazine image on the plate, removing, and then printing! Space is limited, registration is highly encouraged. This workshop is open to all ages and no prior experience is necessary. All materials will be provided to participants.
