Join us at H﻿oly and Whole Women's Conference to learn how you can break the cycles of dieting, obsessing, negative body image, and being overwhelmed with food and exercise. Come together with women who are facing similar struggles to get freedom by understanding how your identity in Christ is the key to being healthy and whole. You will learn about Christ Centered Intuitive Eating, Intuitive Movement, and how trauma can impact your food and exercise choices. Learn how to trust God more deeply by having a deeper understanding of His heart for you and what He says about your food and body so you can learn to trust your body signals and trust Him with your body.This conference is for any woman who has struggled with years of dieting, negative body image, trauma, an active or history of eating disorders, weight cycling, emotional eating, overeating, restricting food, and over or under exercising. No. This event is not affiliated directly with the Assemblies of God. Thanks to the generosity of Harvest Assembly of God and their Women’s Ministry we are able to use this space as our venue for 2023. When does registration open?Thursday, June 1st at 12 amWhen does registration close? Sunday, August 31th at 11:59pmCan I register on-site?No, all registrations need to be completed by Sunday, August 31, 2023 on EventBrite.Do you offer a group discount?We do not offer a group discount at this time. I have a daughter I would like to bring, what age is this conference appropriate for?We would love to have your daughter join you! This event is for those in high school or older.Can minors attend without a parent/guardian?No. All minors must purchase their own ticket and be accompanied by their parent or guardian to the conference. Tickets will be checked upon arrival each day and no one under 18 will be allowed entry without their parent or guardian.Do you offer any need-based scholarships?It is our heart at Holy &amp; Whole to have this conference be accessible to all women. At this time we are working to secure funding for scholarships. If we are able to offer them for 2023 we will share on our IG and FB pages when the funds and applications are available with clear instructions. Do you have a sample of the schedule? Yes, you can find the schedule on our FB page and under the schedule section here in EventBrite.When should I arrive?Doors will open 30 minutes before the listed start time. Is there reserved seating for this event?All seating is first come first served. Friday night will be yoga mat seating, please bring a towel or yoga mat; chairs available for anyone unable to sit on the floor. Saturday will be table seating. Do you have preferred hotels in the area? Yes! We have reserved blocks of rooms at the following hotels:Home 2 Suites, Burleson, TX Fairfield Inn &amp; Suites, Burleson, TXHyatt Place CityView, Fort Worth, TXPlease follow the directions sent in your confirmation email to reserve your room at one of these hotels. What are the local airports near the venue?Dallas- Love Field (Southwest Airlines), approximately 50 minutes from the event siteDFW Airport (all other carriers), approximately 40 minutes from the event siteWill you be providing a shuttle from the airport to the church?No. Transportation for the weekend is the responsibility of the ticket holder. Car rentals are available at the airport.What should I bring?A bible, journal, pens, yoga mat or towel and a water bottle.Although snacks will be provided, you are welcome to bring your own snacks of preference. What should I wear? This is an athleisure type of conference! We will be providing opportunities for you to move your body in gentle and joy filled movement in the form of drumstick cardio and stretching. Please come dressed to sit comfortably on the floor and workout. Please wear comfortable and supportive shoes. What is Joyful Movement?Joyful movement is a way of approaching physical activity that emphasizes how you feel in your body, how you want to feel overall, and choosing forms of exercise for physical support, mental satisfaction, and spiritual freedom. Something came up and I cannot attend, do you offer refunds?We do not offer refunds but you are welcome to give your ticket to someone or sell it for what you paid. If you ordered a t-shirt we cannot change the t-shirt size to fit the person who you give your ticket to. Are you accepting sponsorships for the conference? YES! Yes, we are providing the following meals and snacks. Snack: protein/snack bars, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cheese sticksLunch, Saturday: McAlister’s Deli Baked potato bar with protein options of bacon and kidney beans and various toppings; salad barExperiential Dinner, Saturday: Rosa’s Tortilla Factory Taco bar with protein options of chicken and black beans with various toppings and salad as well as chips and salsaExperiential Desserts, Saturday: dark chocolate covered strawberries, dark chocolate sea salted caramels and mini cheesecakesAre you providing alternative meals for those with allergies? We are going to do our best to provide options for those with allergies to major allergens (Gluten, dairy, soy, peanuts, shellfish), but we cannot guarantee that all meals will be allergen free. This session aims to support those and their loved ones who present with active eating disorders and will be especially helpful to those who are in the primary and/or acute stage of recovery.
