6 Steps Closer is a 90-minute virtual workshop for couples to deepen connection, navigate conflict, and strengthen their relationship.
This workshop is offered once a month, giving couples an opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life and invest in their relationship. Grounded in relationship research and practical strategies, this one-time workshop introduces six tangible tools you can begin using right away to foster greater connection, communication, and teamwork as you navigate parenthood together.
As Dr. John Gottman reminds us:
"Parenting is not an instinctive skill. You have to learn how to be a good parent. You also have to relearn how to be the same partner in a new relationship."
During the workshop, you'll learn how to:
- Turn toward each other during everyday moments
- Increase positive interactions within your family
- Accept personal responsibility during conflict
- Make intimacy and emotional connection a priority
- Regulate emotions and navigate conflict more effectively
- Restore balance in your relationship as partners and parents
