We're excited to bring back the Downtown Flower Program for 2023! Help us bring some color to Downtown Everett on Planting Day.

Keep the Downtown Flower Program growing and thriving! Join us for Downtown Planting Day on May 6! Check-in times will be available at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Please ensure you're registering for the time you plan to arrive on Planting Day. We anticipate most volunteers will spend about two hours and plant three planters -- you're welcome to stay the entire time, or just long enough to plant one planter.Volunteers should plan to bring the following supplies:<ul><li>Gardening gloves</li><li>Gardening tools for planting &amp; weeding, e.g. trowel, hand rake, hand pruners, etc.</li><li>A bucket for toting your tools, if desired</li><li>Weather protection, e.g. sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, rain gear</li><li>Refillable water bottle</li></ul>If you own a gardening cart/wheelbarrow/wagon and can feasibly transport it downtown, we encourage you to bring it for easier transportation of plants from Wetmore Plaza to your assigned planter(s). Adopt-a-PlanterWith nearly 300 planters and hanging baskets to maintain, the program costs about $16,000 each year. If you'd like to support our efforts to revitalize Downtown Everett, consider donating to the Downtown Everett Partners.
