This Auxiliary event, sponsored by Crossway Books and hosted by Neopolis Network, will look at the role of preaching the reality of Christ in the local church. This panel will reflect on what might be called ‘experiential preaching.’ Within the historical African American church preaching the conscious reality and majesty of Christ is crucial: the minister embodies the message. In other traditions as well from Richard Baxter to Jonathan Edwards, to Martyn Lloyd-Jones to today, pastors must aim to preach not only the truthfulness of Christ, but also his reality. Join Dr. R.
