Special Screening & Healing Ceremony - Mama Irene - Healer of the Andes

Willow Stick Ceremonies & Healing Arts

Mama Irene smashed the glass ceiling of male dominated healing in the Andes. Her movie carries a message of healing for our home — Earth.

Unity Spiritual Center of Lansing

The Sacred Valley in the Peruvian Andes is full of intense spirituality and many natural healing practices. If you have ever had the honor of working with the healers there, you will understand this. The Andean people connect very strongly with the land. They depend on it for not just physical needs. But, for the deep healing energy through the sacred mountains of the Andes, known as “Apus.”This screening is a very rare opportunity to see a powerful, yet gentle woman healer. She has developed her craft through ceremony and connection to the land. She focuses her work on empowering women and children in her community. The documentary has not been released publicly. It is being shown in a very select few locations. So, we are extremely honored that the production company has approved Willow Stick Ceremonies & Healing Arts to bring this profound message to the greater Lansing area and to Michigan. In addition to the screening, you will be treated to a Q & A session about Andean spirituality with Teresa Wojtowicz, the healer in residence at Willow Stick. Also, Teresa will be leading the audience in a very deep healing practice that will resonate throughout our community and into the world. It will promote peace, understanding, and love.We are requesting a $10 donation at the door. More if you can...less if you can'tAll extra proceeds from this event will be shared with The Unity Spiritual Center of Lansing, Willow Stick Healing Arts community work and Mama Irene and her community in the Andes.
