Working with trees in their entirety Bainbridge seeks out wood that has fallen where it once grew, forming direct and intimate connections to land and place. Born in London in 1991, Bainbridge studied Fine Art where he graduated in 2013 as a photographer and sculptor. In 2014 he co-founded the studio practice Forest + Found, with his partner Abigail Booth whom he works alongside to produce wider projects, exhibiting throughout the UK and internationally.About Alida Kuzemczak-SayerAlida Kuzemczak-Sayer’s practice explores a longstanding interest in systems of communication and the challenge of apprehending the intangible. Her sculptural pieces grow through an intuitive manipulation of materials that are repeatedly deconstructed and re-formed into new volumes, typically resembling soft book or scroll-like forms. Alida trained at The Royal College of Art (MA Sculpture, 2014) and at Glasgow School of Art (BA Hons Visual Communication, 2009). She has exhibited internationally and undertaken residencies in South Korea, Scuola di Grafica di Venezia Italy and at UK organisations including Scottish Sculpture Workshop and Firstsite Colchester.About Sarah MyerscoughSarah Myerscough is managing director of Sarah Myerscough Gallery, one of the UK’s leading galleries for craft, art and design.
