We empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds. Check back frequently, as we post new service opportunities on the 1st and 15th of each month.

Seeds of Caring

Children and their families will decorate and assemble Mother’s Day gift bags for new moms staying with their babies in local hospitals.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Seeds of Caring.  This event is full.  Spots do sometimes open up when families cancel their registration.  Check back periodically and follow us on Facebook where we will post announcements when spots open up for various events.  We will also be adding new events on the 1st and 15th of each month, with the occasional last-minute event posted in between.

Who this In Person Event is for: Ages 2-12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome, but may find the event to be less meaningful and fulfilling.What you&#x27;ll be doing: Every mother wants their baby to be healthy, happy, and loved. Being a mother can be hard, but for some mothers it is even harder. Mother’s Day is coming up and Seeds of Caring wants to do something special for new mothers spending Mother’s Day weekend in the NICU with their baby. Join us as we show our appreciation for all moms, make cards, decorate gift bags, and then assemble Mother’s Day NICU bags filled with comfort and self-care items that will be donated to local hospitals.COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Events:Please review our <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1H3uxVbKtDo4GedECENSkWlFdC6BcR25Hkj6iPo80960/edit?usp=sharing" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Programming</a> before registering for this event.Specific Instructions: All supplies will be provided.Why you&#x27;ll be asked to pay a supply fee and donate:On the next page, you&#x27;ll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for kids.Every time we&#x27;re able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it&#x27;s with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds. We never want supply fees to prevent someone from participating in a Seeds of Caring project. If you would like assistance covering your supply fees, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org and we will register you for free, no questions asked.
