Former US Ambassadorto the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum Larry Greenwood willmoderate a panel of distinguished ASEAN diplomats including Consul General NeilFrank R. Ferrer of the Philippines, Consul General Anil Fahriza Adenan ofMalaysia, Consul General William Chik of Singapore, and Consul General Hoang Anh Tuan of Vietnam.In November 2023, San Francisco will host the annual APEC Leaders’ Summit,an important gathering of heads of state, policy makers and business leadersfrom the Asia-Pacific region. In advance of the APEC Summit, on May5 th  Ambassador Greenwood will join Consul General Ferrer, Adenan, Chik andHoang in exploring Asia-Pacific partnerships; the shared goal of creating a moreopen, resilient, sustainable, and peaceful future; and issues of central importanceto the region such as climate change, economic inclusion, and digitaltransformation. CBSI’s mission is to facilitate interaction and collaboration between students,faculty, government leaders, and Asia-Pacific business communities and, indoing so, serve as a bridge connecting the US and Asia, as a center ofknowledge and innovation, and as an educational incubator for business leaders.This free event is hosted by USF CBSI with Singapore Global Network. Please join us for the 3:30 pm panel discussion in Lone Mountain 100 (HandleryRoom) followed by a 5:00 pm reception in Lone Mountain 270 (Del SantoReading Room). Light refreshments will be provided. F﻿ree parking is available on the Loan Mountain ramps off of Turk Street and in the Loan Mountain East (LME) underground garage (located on the ramp under the newly-built dorms).
