Can I buy tickets to just the Turtle Trot, or just the Festival?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can sign up for just the Turtle Trot, or you can purchase tickets to just the Festival. Bundles are also available if you’d like to attend both events: buying together saves $9.

What time does everything start?

Accepted Answer

The 5k and 10k start at 9am, the Kids Run starts at 10am, and doors to the Festival open at Noon. Music will end by 6pm. Stay tuned for more info on suggested arrival and shuttle times for runners.

What are the 5k/10k courses?

The courses are beautiful runs from McNears and along the water on Pt San Pedro Road! Course time limit is 2 hours.

Will there be food and beverages available?

Yes! Food and beverage will be available to purchase, including many menu items that will remind you of Sundays in the beach park at TXR.

Are pets allowed?

Accepted Answer

Per Marin County guidelines, no dogs or companion animals are allowed at McNears, except service animals.

Does this mean Terrapin is re-opening?

Accepted Answer

Terrapin has always been a community, not just a location. While we will not be re-opening at 100 Yacht Club Drive, we’re excited to see what the future holds and to get Terrapin Nation back together at the first ever Sunday Daydream!

Question 7

How can I give my tickets to a friend if I can't make it?

Accepted Answer

You should receive an email with PDF tickets attached the week before the event. You can then forward the tickets to whoever you like. You do not need to update the name on the tickets. If you need to update registration info for the race, you can do that when you pick up your bib.

Question 8

For the Turtle Trot, when can I get my bib and shirt?

Accepted Answer

Join us at Ounces Outdoors in Northgate Mall on Saturday, July 8 from 4-7pm for a packet pickup party with live music from Grahame Lesh, Ezra Lipp, Mike Pascale, and more. You can also get your bib & shirt the morning before the race, but arrive early- we recommend by 8am!

What accommodations are available for ADA?

Accepted Answer

We have set aside additional parking at McNears for cars with ADA plaques, but that parking is first come first serve. There will be a decked, shaded ADA viewing area with folding chairs available; no prior reservation required. Please note the shuttles are NOT wheelchair accessible.

Question 10

What is the parking and transportation situation?

Accepted Answer

The short answer: On-site parking is VERY limited and we encourage you to carpool/rideshare/bike. There will be shuttles available from San Rafael High School starting at 11:30am.

What should I bring and not bring?

Accepted Answer

Please bring: Your credit card (this is a cashless event), an empty reusable water bottle for free fillups, and sunscreen.

Do not bring: high-backed chairs, drones, pets, outside food/bev, or weapons. Smoking of any kind is prohibited in the park.
