The Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of Arkansas Heritage, a division of the Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism. The Arkansas Arts Council expands cultural and educational opportunities by investing in Arkansas museums, theaters, symphonies and other providers of artistic programming. The Arts Council provides funding for artist residencies in schools and after-school/summer programs through its Arts in Education program. By administering federal, state and private funds and providing technical and financial assistance to arts organizations, schools and artists, the Arkansas Arts Council helps ensure that the arts will continue to enrich the lives of all Arkansans for generations to come.

GetSmART! Learning Series

GetSmART! Learning Series workshops and webinars offer business and professional development for creatives and arts organizations.

T﻿he Arkansas Arts Council is presenting a series of online workshops geared towards helping communities, organizations and individuals build their nonprofits.Shunqetta Cunningham, CEO and Lead Grant Strategist of KHARIS Group Consulting will lead the series.Nonprofits, artists, government officials and the community that are interested in starting a nonprofit or improving their nonprofit are invited.This series will take place 10-11:30 a.m. starting March 29 and ending Monday, May 1. These are free and open to the public, and registration is required.Your registration includes all workshops.

April 19 - Your Profit (Developing a budget/Fundraising)

May 1 - Your Profit #2 (Grant writing)
