<P>近代的中国从鸦片战争，甲午战争再到抗日战争和太平洋战争，打开国门后猛然被推到了亚洲的舞台，从险些被列强支配的地位慢慢站稳脚跟，甚至参与到竞逐东亚的地位。国人对世界的看法第一次在一部分知识精英中呈现出一种从世界看中国的观念。本次讲座我们请来以胡适与战争的角度做研究的学者，将为我们介绍三十年代这部分知识精英眼中的新的世界与中国，战争与和平的理念。</P>
