4-H Livestock Clinic

In 1917, CCE of Columbia County and CCE of Greene County were established in their respective counties. Consolidated in 2012, CCE of Columbia and Greene Counties has continued to respond to the needs of local residents with unbiased, research-based information, tools, and education that people have come to depend on and trust. Our programs are developed in direct response to community input, and are based on the most current information available from Cornell and other Land Grant universities from across the nation.

Trowbridge Farms

<p>The 4-H Livestock Clinic, held at Trowbridge Farms, is an opportunity for Columbia and Greene County 4-H youth interested in beef, sheep, and swine showmanship, to learn from knowledgeable 4-H alumni and industry professionals, in preparation for this year’s fair season. This clinic will provide youth with the opportunity to practice safe showmanship, confidently answer questions from judges, explore animal anatomy, and prepare a fair-ready show box. This event is open to enrolled Columbia and Greene County 4-Hers, ages eight and up. Adults may stay but are not required to do so. Pizza will be served at the beginning of the clinic.</p>
