Join us as we welcome representatives from the Catawba Cultural Center to the President James K. Polk State Historic Site on Saturday, April 29, from 10am-12pm. They will present Catawba History 101, an overview of 6,000 years of Catawba Nation’s history, in our auditorium. Afterwards, a drum group will perform songs for dancers to demonstrate various styles of dance outside on our historic grounds.Registration is for Catawba 101 only, due to limited seats. Catawba 101 will be from 10am-11am in the Polk site auditorium.
