Please join us on April 4, 2019, at the Boston Public Library in Copley Square to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., 51 years after his assassination. The night before his assassination in April 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke before a group of striking Black sanitation workers in Memphis, Tennessee as they prepared for a march for civil rights, union recognition, and economic justice.
