Launch of Great Taste - Zero Waste Manifesto

The Danish Cultural Institute collaborates with partners in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in creating and producing cultural co-creative projects, organising events and promoting contributions to festivals and exhibitions in the field of music, film, theatre, art, design, architecture and literature.We work with culture in the broadest sense of the word. This means that projects concerning both the so called high culture as well as projects regarding the popular culture are important to us. Culture is not only about encouraging up-coming artists, but also about creating projects that can bring people together and foster dialogue among people with different cultural backgrounds.We often work in close collaboration with local partners in the countries concerned. This to ensure that a diverse and local knowledge is represented in the projects. Local organizations are more deeply rooted in the culture than we are and therefore we see this as a crucial foundation for creating projects which facilitate cultural exchange.
