Celebrating the Java 12 Launch - Shaping the Future of Java, Faster!

We are the New York Java Special Interest Group (NYJavaSIG), the largest Java Users Group in North America with 10K+  members.  We are well-known in the international technology community with monthly meetings.  Our Leadership group:  Jeanne Boyarsky, Barry Burd, Rodrigo Graciano,  Sai Sharan Donthi,  Chandra Guntur, Justin Lee, Neha Sardana, and Lily Luo.

NYJavaSIG

As you should already know, the Java SE Platform and the JDK have moved to a rapid, six-month release cadence, with Java 12 launching on March 19, 2019.  Come celebrate this release with an overview of what's new, and see a deeper dive on some of the new features such as switch expressions and the new GC enhancements.  We’ll also take a peek at some of the features under development at OpenJDK for future releases and discuss when we might see them in production!
