The ReImagining Health and Wellness™ Forums & Conferences are educational and interactive venues that foster innovative thinking and programing around individual and community Health and Wellness.  Topics include allopathic, complementary, and traditional healing modalities, as well as behavioral, social and emotional learning solutions. In addition to the forums, TWC offers workshops, consultations, and trainings for a variety of health related organizations.

<p>A New Education for a New Generation</p><p>It would help us to think of &quot;education&quot; in developmental terms. It is best understood as an act of formation. We are all lifetime learners exposed to experiences and relationships that influence, shape and mold us into who we are becoming. It&#x27;s been aptly called  the school of hard knocks! But what about our esteemed institutions of learning? What is it that our children and youth actually learn when they go to school and navigate our current system of education? From pre-K to postgraduate education, many of us stay the course in the hope of finding gainful employment at the other end of the &quot;halls of academia&quot;. But how well does the current model of education prepare us for the purposeful and sustainable work of shaping the future that we want. </p><p>Our democratic right to be educated is under attack. Access to historical facts, the freedom of speech and the freedom to think critically are all key elements in the formation of healthy creative minds; and these key elements are being systematically removed from school curricula across the nation. </p><p>There is no better time than NOW to come together in community to Re-Imagine Education and begin the process of creating a New Education for a New Generation! </p><p>Dr. Karl Reid, Senior Vice Provost and Chief Inclusion Officer at Northeastern University will kick off our discussion from his 25+ year perspective as a writer, engineer and education changemaker. Our conversation will continue with a moderated panel discussion composed of an educator, public school council member, academic administrator and a youth advocate. It will be a time for you to pose your questions and concerns, and a time to voice YOUR ideas for change! See you there!</p>
