<p>In 1999, in a black-box theater in L.A., five actors perform a drama about friendship. But what happens backstage when they shed their characters? In this innovative production, which breaks a different kind of fourth wall, the audience members find out. Half of them, in turn, watch the play while the other half “spy” on the actors when they’re backstage, where they reveal their own personal dramas—along with their challenging, consuming love of theater.</p>
