The Morro Bay National Estuary Program

Join us at the SLO Botanical Garden to learn about research happening in Morro Bay and beyond, as part of our 2023 State of the Bay series.

San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden

This free public event will feature short talks given by various researchers from the Estuary Program and throughout California. Topics include eelgrass, steelhead, Olympia oysters, bay monitoring efforts, and more.This event is a part of the Estuary Program’s 2023 State of the Bay event series, highlighting the health of the Morro Bay estuary. For any ADA accomodations or accessibility needs, please contact Forest at flurz@mbnep.org.Attendees will need to pay $3 to enter El Chorro Regional Park. Upon arrival, please park in the Dairy Creek or Mariposa parking lots.
