Ever wanted to be a mermaid? Ever wanted to photograph one? Rent a 30 or 45-minute time-slot in this state of the art mobile mermaid tank.

Rent Time in &quot;Frigate&quot; our 1000 gallon Mermaid TankDesigned with photographers, models, and mer-enthusists in mind, we are opening our custom mermaid tank to the public. Bring your own photographer and/or model for your session. You can bring your own fins or contact us to rent a FinFolk Mythic Mermaid Tail for your session (depending on availability). If you are a photographer who would prefer to work with an experienced underwater model, we can pair you with one of our own professional mermaids. The tank has a rest period of 15 minutes between each participant to aid in water clarity. If you book back-to-back sessions you have the option of working through that 15 minute period at no extra charge. Session Description:<ul><li>Custom built, 1000 gallon, acrylic tank. The tank itself is 8&#x27;x4&#x27;X4&#x27; but sits on an 18&quot; high steal frame making the total structure 5.5&#x27; tall</li><li>The tank will be set up, filtered, and of reasonable temperature (above 75 degrees) when you arrive.</li><li>You may arrive up-to but not more than 10 mins before your session to prepare.</li><li>If you arrive late your session will still end as scheduled you will not be compensated for time missed.</li><li>One tank technician and one trained safety will be there to aid you.</li><li>A pop-up changing tent will be provided but it&#x27;s strongly encouraged that you arrive already dressed for your shoot (except for the tail if applicable)</li><li>Session is outside rain or shine. However in the event of thunder or lightening your session may be postponed or cancelled and refunded. Heaters may be added to control temperature, in which case they may be visible in the tank. </li><li>A photographer seeking a model can contact us to be paired with a professional underwater model.</li><li>A model seeking a tail must contact us in advance regarding rentals </li></ul> Safety Procedures:<ul><li>No more than 3 people allowed to participate per session. (This can be a photographer and two models, one model and two photographers, a photographer, model, and assistant, etc.) You may have additional observers.</li><li>The tank will be maintained with high enough chlorine levels to ensure the water is properly treated and no bacteria or viruses can survive or be transmitted through the the water. However, due to the strict health guidelines, 100% clarity is not guaranteed. The model may experience the typical burning sensation in open eyes or sinuses associated with the presence of chlorine, however levels will be kept within a safe range. Bringing eyedrops and eyewash for aftercare is recommended. </li><li>No bathrooms on site. Please make other arrangements. Any urinating in the tank will result in you session being cancelled as well as a $1000 cleaning charge.</li><li>Absolutely no glitter, wash-out/temp hair color, LEAVE-IN CONDITIONERS, hair products, oil (including oil-based body or hair products), lotion (including sunscreen), or sequins allowed in the tank. Please seal all makeup. Only water-based lubricants can be used to don tails. These restrictions will be strictly enforced for the health and safety of all participants. We reserve the right to rinse out a model&#x27;s hair prior to entering the tank and to test garments for dye-bleed. If your hair dye bleeds in the tank your session may be ended early to allow the water to clear for the next attendee. </li><li>Natural shell poses a threat to the acrylic and will be considered on a case by case basis, but may not be allowed. Please bring fabric or silicone costume pieces instead. </li><li>Wigs are allowed but must be brushed out to remove any loose strands and 100% free of any styling products.</li><li>All persons entering the tank shall be required to sign a waiver</li><li>Sessions are open to those 6yrs old and up. However a legal guardian must accompany each minor and anyone requiring physical assistance must bring an assistant familiar with and capable of accommodating their needs.</li><li>Anyone going in the tank must be mentally and physically comfortable in water in the costume they will be wearing and with putting their head underwater.</li><li>Maximum 2 people in the tank at a time</li></ul>What To Bring:<ul><li>Your own model, photographer, assistant or friends</li><li>Your own tail, rent a tail from us, or go tail-less</li><li>Your bathing suit, costume, accessories, etc.</li><li>Your own towel and change of clothing</li><li>Any props, backdrops, lights or decoration</li><li>Any snacks, food, or water. Nothing will be provided on site.</li></ul>Any concept is welcome but you must be legally clothed. If you have privacy concerns please contact us. The shoot takes place outside a private residence. To respect the homeowner&#x27;s privacy, the address will only be given to ticket holders (via email.) Tail RentalsA selection of professional grade Mythic tails, produced by Finfolk Productions are available to rent for your session. Currently we have sizes XS, XS/S Tall, M, L, and XL available. Rentals are $100 per a session. Please refer to the size chart below to determine if we have your size in stock and then you MUST contact us in advance to reserve. If you do not contact us in advance we may not have your size on hand on the day. You will not need to pay for your tail rental until you arrive for your session and see the tail in person. Cash and Card are accepted but Venmo is preferred.
