Arrival Instructions at LACC
Parking for the event is provided at the West Garage at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Please enter on Pico Blvd, just west of Figueroa St. A Cedars-Sinai volunteer will be at the garage entrance to provide you a parking pass that grants you access and free parking in the West Garage. All guests will then enter the event through the front entrance of the Los Angeles Convention Center. This is the only entrance open for this event.

With pioneering medical research achievements, education programs defining the future of healthcare, and wide-ranging community benefit activities, we’re setting new standards for quality and innovation in patient care. A﻿bout this EventBlack Men In White Coats started in 2013 in response to an alarming report that highlighted the decreasing number of black men applying to medical school. We have worked closely with medical schools, high schools, and physicians to provide inspiration and mentorship to our youth who may be interested in healthcare as a profession. We are continuing this work in May by bringing students (boys &amp; girls), educators, parents, physicians, and community leaders together for a full day summit! Over the course of the day, students will engage in hands-on activities and network with healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds. The goal is to inspire and show them that there are people who look like them in this field, and if we can do it, they can do it.**Continental Breakfast and Lunch will be provided***M﻿asks are recommended.Black Men In White Coats T-Shirts may be purchased in advance at <a href="https://www.bmwc.store/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">BMWC.store</a> (allow 1 month for delivery)------------------------------------------------------------------------------***By attending the event you agree to have your voice and likeness recorded and distributed for promotional and educational purposes.  Furthermore, all participants under the age of 18 must be registered by their parent or legal guardian.  Participants 13 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or their designated chaperone while at the summit.
