Classical Uprising Youth Choirsdevelop the next generation of healthy, thoughtful, and creative citizens through music education programs and choral singing. Designed for young people in grades K-12, the Choirs teach vocal technique and musicianship while nurturing communication and public speaking skills and introducing the joy of making music together.

On Sunday, May 14, 2023, <a href="https://www.classicaluprising.org/horizon-voices" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Horizon Voices</a>, directed by Maria Belva, presents The Welcome Spring, a choral festival of songs that remind us to make merry in the growing warmth and light of the season.THE WELCOME SPRING<ul><li>Sunday, May 14, 2022</li><li>3:00 pm</li><li>Freeport Performing Arts Center – 30 Holbrook Street, Freeport, Maine</li></ul>Tickets: <ul><li>Adult – $10 in advance, $15 at the door</li><li>Child (Under 18) – $5 in advance, $8 at the door</li></ul>We encourage you to purchase tickets in advance. Online ticket sales end 12 hours before the concert begins. Door tickets will be sold until venue capacity is reached.COVID protocols:<ul><li>At this time, we will not require proof of vaccination for this event, but do recommend attendees wear a mask. Our concert protocols may vary over the course of the season in response to the rise and fall of local COVID rates and corresponding CDC recommendations.</li><li>If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you refrain from coming to the concert, and will provide you with a refund. Please do your part to keep our community safe!</li></ul>Horizon Voices has four different age groups, grades K-12, with over 70 auditioned singers: CIRCLE: K-1; MELODIES: 2-4; TREBLES: 5-8; CONCORD: 9-12.
