From Ponzi schemes to Nigerian “princes” and from Enron to Volkswagen… fraud happens around us every day, at many different levels and in many different forms, creating risk of financial loss, legal action and reputational damage. So how do we protect ourselves, our families and our companies?In her latest book, Fool Me Once, renowned forensic accounting expert Kelly Richmond Pope shows us fraud in action, uncovering what makes perpetrators tick, victims so gullible, and whistleblowers so morally righteous, while also encouraging us to look at our own behaviors and motivations in the hope of protecting ourselves and our companies.Join us on 5/4/23 at 6pm to gain a deeper understanding into the “who, what and why?” of fraud. Challenge your thinking and ideas about what fraud is and why it happens… and maybe even find some compassion for the perpetrators, a sense of connection with the victims and a renewed appreciation for the courageous whistleblowers.This event will be followed by a networking reception, and book signing with books will be available for purchase.
