2023 Social Innovator Showcase

The Social Innovation Forum's mission is to create positive social change in Greater Boston. We do this by engaging leaders, strengthening organizations, and building networks. We describe our work as “a marketplace approach” to social change – one in which SIF engages diverse stakeholders in collaborating to accelerate purposeful, positive social change. Since 2003, the Social Innovation Forum has directed more than $59 million in cash and in-kind services to more than 120 portfolio organizations.

Artists For Humanity

The Social Innovator Showcase is the Social Innovation Forum’s signature event, an exciting and vibrant evening when Boston’s innovation and social change communities gather to hear effective and innovative nonprofits pitch their solutions to our region’s toughest social issues. Modeled after a venture capital forum, the evening begins with food and networking leading up to the main program: eight high-energy pitches from nonprofit “Social Innovators” to an in-person audience of 300 philanthropists, business executives, and foundation leaders. Public Transportation: P﻿ublic transportation is recommended and available for the event. Take the Red Line to Broadway Station. Look for signs for W Broadway Street and head southeast until you reach A street. Take a left and keep walking for about 3 mins until you see Artists for Humanity on your right. Parking Directions: Upon arrival at the venue, there is parking available at the Channel Center Garage, within walking distance of the venue. You may also find metered street parking spots. We encourage you to bring your electronic ticket so that an SIF staff member can scan your QR code via the Eventbrite app to mark your attendance.How much of the ticket price is tax deductible? The tax-deductible portion of the ticket is $110. What is the dress code for the event?The Social Innovator Showcase has a &quot;business festive&quot; dress code. Most guests will be coming from work to the event and thus will be in business attire, but the Showcase is a celebration and tends to have a more festive feel.Is this event accessible to everyone?Yes, we aim to make the Showcase as accessible as possible. The facilities are wheelchair accessible, and we will be providing CART services.
