Agency by Design Oakland is offering a variety of participatory learning experiences for Bay Area public school educators:  foundations of Maker-Centered Learning, play, belonging, wellness, repair, & more!

Do you remember a time where you entered a space and felt like you belonged? Or maybe a time where you felt invisible and othered? We all long to belong somewhere and as educators, we want to create healthy opportunities for students to feel like they are seen, heard, and valued. Creating these spaces requires intentional planning and action. Join us in this virtual and interactive workshop where we will reimagine what belonging looks like in our current landscape. Through reflection and discussion, educators will become aware of our biases, surface them, and collaborate to work on ways to design our classroom as spaces of belonging.Virtual and open to Bay Area educators.
