Dahlia's 5K/10K Heart Walk

T﻿eam Dahlia will host a Heart Walk in honor of our daughter Dahlia Morris.  The event will consist of a 5K walk which is come as you are.  Allen Bernard will conduct a 10K walk in honor of Dahlia in which a request to sponsor his performance is presented.

Join us at Dahlia's 5K/10K Heart Walk and show your support for Dahlia Morris, a heart transplant patient who needs our help. Baby Dahlia has experienced significant medical setbacks over the last month culminating in the diagnosis of dilated cardiomyopathy. As a result of Dahlia's health she has been added to the United Network for Organ Sharing as a Heart Transplant candidate. Dahlia has displayed great resilience throughout this process which has coined her the motto "Tiny But Mighty."This event is all about coming together as a community to raise awareness and funds for Dahlia's medical expenses. Lace up your sneakers and get ready for a morning of fun, fitness, and friendship. We'll be walking from North Brunswick High School along the recently completed multi-purpose path and through beautiful Founders Park, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine while making a difference in Dahlia's life. Dahlia's grandfather will complete a 10K on her behalf and sponsors are encouraged to support his effort. This event will be attended and supported by members of the military, community leaders, local church members and various others. Virtual participation is also welcomed and encouraged for all interested in contributing to this important event. So mark your calendars for Saturday, April 8th at 8:30 AM and let's make this Heart Walk a success! Your generosity is sincerely appreciated. Thank you for your support.

No WEAPONS allowed. Dress appropriately. Parking for participants is available at North Brunswick County High School. Participants are encouraged to arrive early for check in. Baby Strollers are allowed. Pets are allowed and are to remain leached along the multi-purpose path and into Founders Park. Participants are required to clean after their pet while participating in the event. Thank you for considering support of this important event. God Bless!
