There is no registration fee.

Will there be any travel support?

Accepted Answer

We have $100 in travel support for the first 10 registrants. Greater travel support will be available if larger subunits and chapters would be willing to donate money to help out students from smaller chapters, subunits, or those traveling from further away. Use the donation button or contact WDAFS!

What's the agenda?

We've got a great lineup of expert-led workshops, a site visit to the Eagle Fish Genetics lab, a peer-review workshop, and some fun outdoors stuff too! See the "agenda" section of the eventbrite page or email the WDAFS student representative at studentrepresentative@wdafs.org!

Why is this right before the WDAFS annual meeting?

By holding our student colloquium right before the WDAFS annual meeting, we hope to increase attendance, provide a space for students to learn and interact together before the annual conference, and leverage travel support resources to help students save time and money!
