Arts at the Armory

When you're at a Mark Lipman show, you may feel things. You may have discoveries about yourself, veils of reality may lift, and you may find yourself feeling connected to the hearts of people you barely know around you. With his most recent album The Glimmer, Lipman opens up about his journey—one where he discovers that the same symptoms mental health providers see as problems can often be sources of strength, insight, wisdom, and empowerment. Listen to any of the tracks on The Glimmer, and you’ll hear songs that touch on love, compassion, and the power of being vulnerable—all delivered through Lipman’s soulful, evocative, near-angelic vocals. Lipman will be performing some of these tunes and more at this intimate show at the Center for The Arts at The Armory in Somerville, MA. Masking for this show is optional.
