The Downtown Brentwood Coalition was formed as a non-profit organization by the small, independent businesses in the downtown area. Our intent is to create an atmosphere of warm family fun and a welcome attitude to the residents of Brentwood, as well as surrounding communities. The Coalition's goal is to enhance economic growth of the downtown area by focusing on education, promotion and development of the business community. We are committed to bringing high quality, family friendly events to our community!

Our Entry Ticket Sales for Bags and Brews 2023  event  have ended.

 We look forward to seeing everyone who  has pre-registered on Sunday, May 28th 2023 in Downtown Brentwood at Tournament Central in front of The Press Building. Check-in begins at 10:30am, Military Tribute at 12:00 and Bags fly at 1pm.  No Outside Alcohol permitted. Thank you!

Compete for the title of Bags and Brews Champion or just come and enjoy the day with family and friends in Downtown on Sunday, May 28th 2023.The Downtown Brentwood Coalition invites your team of 2 to register in one of the divisions that suits your skill level. A newbie? No problem! Sign up for the BACKYARD division. Won your fair share of games? Sign up in the COMPETITIVE division. $75 ticket includes BOTH PLAYERS on your team, a donation to local veterans organizations and an awesome custom event gear designed by Purpose-Built! Families, friends, and supporters are encouraged to attend, for free of course! There will be lots of fun activities for the youngsters too. ALL skill levels are welcome (even the not-so-skilled!) Pick from Backyard or Competitive Division, see descriptions below to find out what would be best suited for your team. Special Thanks to our Presenting sponsor, Purpose-Built, Home of the Trades!Divisions:1. Backyard - This means you do not play in any groups or leagues, and do not play very regularly. This is a straight-up, for good times only, type division. Great prizes will still be awarded!2. Competitive Division- This means, you are comfortable with the game, maybe even have the Scoreholio app on your phone. If you play fairly regularly in a group or a league, this is the place for you! Cash Prizes for winning teams in this Division. Times:Check-In begins at 10:30amMilitary Tribute honoring the Fallen begins promptly at 12:00B﻿ags Fly at 1:00pmHere is what to expect: Backyard Division ~ 80 Team Capacity ~ Bags ProvidedThe top 3 Teams win Prizes!Advanced Division ~ 56 Team Capacity ~ Bags ProvidedThe top 3 Teams win Cash &amp; Prizes!Format for Backyard &amp; Advanced will be Round Robin style play seeded into a single-elimination bracket.THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE HELD IN THE STREETS (OAK &amp; 1ST ST.)The Top 3 Teams in each division win cash and/or prizes depending on Division.All divisions will be played in teams (2). Must be pre-registered to participate.
