Registration opens April 27 at 6:00 amJ﻿oin orinthologist and naturalist Dr. Pepper Trail on a birding exploration at Pompadour Bluff. We will likely see or hear Acorn Woodpecker, White-breasted Nuthatch, Oak Titmouse, Red-tailed Hawk, and Violet-green Swallow. If we&#x27;re lucky, there may be Canyon Wren, Rock Wren, and Purple Martin. The Bluff is only occasionally open to the public for events, so this is a special treat!Guide: Dr. Pepper Trail Focus: BirdingLimit: 15Meeting Location: (near, not exact) Pompadour Bluff, meeting in Ashland to carpool.Difficulty: One-mile of moderately difficult walking on and off trail on steep slopes &quot;birding&quot; pace with an elevation gain of up to 200ft.<h3>While Covid restrictions have lifted, please exercise precaution and stay home if you are feeling ill. Contact SOLC staff for a possible raincheck. </h3>As much as we love our furry friends at SOLC, pets are not allowed. SOLC does make exceptions for ADA service animals.
