Black Alabamians for Education serves as the vehicle that delivers timely, relative, relevant and life changing information to parents that will equip, inform and empower Black families with information on accessing a high quality education.

This year’s theme for our annual Parent Symposium is "Year of Evidence", challenging attendees to not only gain information but act and advocate on what they know to be necessary on behalf of children and families. How so, one may ask, by using everyday moments, resources and relationships to engage, build and create the opportunity to see academic, social and emotional growth amongst our greatest asset, our children!Our Parent Symposium promises to yield personal experiences for our attendees that will not only transform their lives but our hope is that it will impact generations to come!
