No more trying to be mindful alone.The Hive exists to develop creative, compassionate, and mindfully-engaged citizens in the Cincinnati region through small group classes and workshops. We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Your partnership helps make this nonprofit possible.(As a social enterprise, the Hive shares our story with photos of classes and events. Click here to join today.</a></p><h2>Courage to Continue: Healing Together from White Supremacy</h2><h3>Domains: Collective Action, Healing Work</h3><p><em>“If you have come here to help me you are wasting your time, but if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.”  - Lilla Watson</em></p><p>You are invited to form a 6 week brave space to deepen understanding of the history of whiteness, explore the felt sense of racism, and practice accountability with humility and grit. Together we&#x27;ll re-imagine what it means to navigate belonging within our white bodies, explore our role in dismantling white supremacy, and our role in collective trauma healing. All of this, wrapped within a mutual practice of sharing gifts to co-create a culture of joy and healing. </p><p>Healing Together from White Supremacy is a white caucus offering of the Courage to Connect series. This course is for past participants of C2C and/or other white-bodied allies who are actively engaged in learning about racial justice through either self-directed reading of BIPOC teachings or other similar offerings. For information on BIPOC caucuses contact Daniel Hughes (pastordhughes@gmail.com), watch for our next combined C2C course later in 2023.</p><p>This Hive course will use a combination of teaching modalities including independent learning (roughly 30 min per week outside of class), meditation, discussion, small groups and decentralized co-facilitation from veteran Hive facilitator, Rosie Santos, and Hive founder emeritus, Troy Bronsink. </p><h3>N﻿ote: There will be no class on May 29th.</h3><h3>Covid Considerations: Masks are currently optional at the Hive. Individuals may choose to wear a mask for personal protection, and as always, we ask anyone who is feeling sick or has a high temperature to not attend until they are recovered.
