Mulga Loop Cleanup with UAB Into the Streets

Black Warrior Riverkeeper’s mission is to protect and restore the Black Warrior River and its tributaries. We are a citizen-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting clean water for the sake of public health, recreation, and wildlife habitat throughout our patrol area, the Black Warrior River watershed.

, 505 Mulga Loop Road, 35118T﻿ime: 9:30am-12pm | Volunteers are not required to be there the whole time.
Please join your neighbors for the Mulga Loop Road Litter Clean-Up
 which takes place along Mulga Loop and surrounding roadways.
 This event is focused on removing litter from along the roadways
 to prevent it from being washed by rain or carried by wind into
 Village Creek and Bayview Lake and becoming pollution.
 
Local and state health and safety guidelines MUST be followed.
 Volunteers are asked to drive to a designated area and work in groups.
 Certificates for 8 hours of community service will be available after event.
Materials are provided (event t-shirts, safety vests, gloves, trash bags,
 trash grabbers and bottled water).
