During this session we will go through a variety of static stretches that promote relaxation and the release of tension in our bodies.

Haven Yoga

Join us this Saturday at Haven Yoga, ATL as we relax to soothing music, release the stress from our body, and indulge in a variety of tea. This session is open to all flexibility levels. There will be no strenuous stretches or flexibility drills. We will begin with a quick warm up and a moment of guided breathing followed by a series of slow static stretches. These stretches will target various parts of the body while promoting relaxation, the release of tension and increasing bloodflow. Each stretch will be held between 45 and 60 seconds to encourage the body to fully relax in each position. During this session we will utilize standing space and floor space. Be sure to bring a yoga mat along with you and something soft for your knees if you desire. We will end this session with a quick guided meditation and a mini tea bar before you leave. The lights will be low, the music will be soothing and the tea will be hot! :)
