2023 Climate Solutions Symposium (In Person and Virtual) Free for Students

T﻿he Engineering, Science and Technology Council of Houston (ECH) is an organization in the greater Houston metropolitan area. The leadership of several local chapters of engineering and scientific societies come together in ECH to promote engineering and science at annual events such as the Houston Engineering and Science Fair. ECH also conducts symposiums of interest to Texas and beyond, as a means of communicating to the public the capabilities of engineering and science to address challenges of the day.

Global warming must be resolved while ensuring healthy economies. Three initiatives describe what must be done.

<h3><strong>Texas, the Energy Capital of the Planet, Can </strong><strong><em>and Should </em></strong><strong>Lead</strong></h3><p>W﻿e are pleased to announce the second Climate Solutions Symposium hosted by the Engineering, Science and Technology Council of Houston (ECH). The first was held virtually on <a href="https://www.climate-collaboration.com/climate-solutions-symposium-2020" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">August 22, 2020</a>.</p><p>T﻿his half-day hybrid symposium (in-person and live-streamed) will be held at the University of Houston Student Center Theater from 1:00-4:00pm on Saturday, October 7, 2023, followed by a Meet-and-Greet in the Student Center Ballroom from 4:00-5:30pm.</p>
