Have you ever been curious about how to forage for your own food? If so, join Longwood Gardens and registered dietitian/nutritionist, Rutgers Master Gardener, Pennsylvania Master Naturalist, certified science teacher, and wild foods author Debbie Naha-Koretzky (“The Wild Edibles Lady”) to learn about the edible plants of our area. Debbie will cover plant identification, safety, look-alike plants, sustainable harvesting, nature appreciation, nutrition, and cooking with wild plants, as well as a wild food tasting. Signed copies of her book, Foraging Pennsylvania and New Jersey (2021, Falcon Guides) will be available for purchase.As always, enjoy a delicious small bite and signature cocktail to round out the fun.All proceeds from this collaboration between Longwood Gardens and the Creamery of Kennett Square are used to promote family-friendly community outreach programming; we thank you for your continuous support!
