<h1>G﻿eneral Description</h1><p>S﻿AC&#x27;s PokéFest will be hosting a tournament using the<strong> </strong><a href="https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>Pokémon Showdown</strong></a> website at the <strong>Heskett Center&#x27;s eSports room on March 23</strong>. Check-in will begin at 6 p.m. and gameplay will begin at 6:30 p.m. The format for this tournament will be<strong> S/V Doubles VGC 2023 Series 2. </strong>This tournament will allow 24 players max, registration submissions after max capacity will be put on a waitlist<strong>.</strong></p><h2>Registration Requirements</h2><p>Please be sure that you<strong> have a registered Showdown nickname</strong>, and that you have <strong>thoroughly read the </strong><a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/17zoknVZuOplyJyygN0u5LepXhvdhPEndoCbSGJudDC4/edit?usp=sharing" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>Rules Sheet</strong></a><strong> </strong> prior to completing the tournament form. Players <strong>must be a current WSU student</strong> to enter the tournament.</p><h2>Illegal Pokémon</h2><p>The following Pokémon are<strong> not allowed</strong> to participate in the tournament: Koraidon, Miraidon, Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu, Chi-Yu, Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Galarian Meowth, Johto Wooper, Quagsire, Froakie, Frogadier, Greninja, Scorbunny, Raboot, Cinderace, and Perrserker.
