We are a multidisciplinary practice comprised of Alserkal’s founding team in addition to thinkers, researchers, and specialists in diverse fields from multiple geographies. Our advisory practice helps develop cultural production and establish spaces for polyphonic voices. Etihad Museum|Contemporary Histories

Contemporary Histories features a series of six Museum Films complemented by a similar series of six Museum Talks. Together, they traverse past, present, and future, exploring the impact of history from the birth of the nation in 1971 to contemporary day.

Join us for our fourth Museum Film and tenth instalment of Contemporary Histories, the cultural season at the Etihad Museum.Zayed's Antarctic Lights is a documentary, directed by Winston Cowie, that chronicles a two-week expedition to Antarctica by Environmental Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD) and Dr. Jane Goodall ambassadors to Antarctica, as they explored first-hand the biodiversity and impact of global warming and climate change. 'Team Zayed’ lit up the Antarctic sky with 100 solar lights, sending a message of unity, hope and action on climate change to mark the Year of Zayed and celebrate the living legacy of the UAE founding father’s environmental stewardship.
