<h2>Want to inspire people to save seeds? Low return rate to your seed library? </h2>J﻿oin us for this online skillshare on how to engage your community in a One Seed, One Community project where you choose one plant and support your community from seed to seed. This can be done as part of a seed library or other community engagement program. It&#x27;s a great way to start getting seed returns for a seed library. The basic idea is that you provide one type of seed for people to grow and then walk them through the steps of planting, tending, harvesting, and letting some go to seed. It&#x27;s a way to increase the number of seed savers in your community, adapt seeds to your local conditions, and build a local seed stock while allowing people to be part of taking positive action in their community.W﻿e are planning on having this as an ongoing conversation to support communities that want to do a One Seed, One Community project. The first session will be an overview of the process with some suggestions of what steps people can take. Then we&#x27;ll meet a month later to discuss what folks are doing. This offering is being made by the Seed Library Network as part of our vision to create a Million Seed Savers.
