You can park for free at The Vail Transportaion Center (after 3PM in ski season, all day in summer) and walk up Bridge Street at the water fountain turn left and it will be on your left. Many hotels have shuttles to the Transportation Center. You can also take the free in-town bus to the Transportation Center. Plenty of options, you can even bike to the Transportation Center and then walk your bike to the venue.
