Inviting you to early spring flower arrangements in a Japanese tearoom.

The Spring Equinox approaches and celebrates the new life beginnings that surround you in nature. This season is a symbol of the impermanence and transience of life. This class will guide to create spring Chabana ( 茶花: Japanese Tea Ceremony floral arrangement ) with a small tea tree (Camellia sinensis) seedling plant. We will also learn about tea trees as a culinary culture and botanical aspect. After the class, you will take a tea tree home and enjoy it as an indoor/outdoor plant.The seasonal sweet will be served with a bowl of matcha. Instructed by Professional Horticulturist &amp; Floral artist <a href="https://www.instagram.com/greeninthebox/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">EunYoung Sebazco</a>Chabana (茶花, literally &quot;tea flowers&quot;) is the arrangement of seasonal flowers for a Japanese tea ceremony. Displayed in the tokonoma alcove along with other key thematic elements for the gathering, the chabana style appeals to those who prefer a simple, natural look in their creation.
