Children of the CornCon Spring 2023 K12 STEM Camp

The Docent Institute partners with other area organizations such as QC Cybersecurity Alliance, IEEE Computer Society, (ISC)2, QCESC and other professional societies and non-profit organizations in the Quad Cities to organize the annual regional cybersecurity conference for professionals, researchers, parents, kids, and the public.

Docent Cyber Events

Docent Institute is a non-profit Iowa Educational Institution charity. Docent organizes educational events, training and networking events for all ages. We typically have events with 400+ students annually and host an annual Cybersecurity Conference.

Registration opens at 8 am and the event runs 9am - 3pm. A guardian must remain with their student(s) at all times. The cost is $10 per student and $5 per additional student. There is no additional charge for guardians.Food, drinks and snacks will be provided for all attendees.Activities include:<ul><li>Contests, prizes, lunch, electronics kit...</li><li>Capture the Flag Competition TBD</li><li>Soldering small kit or 2022 electronic badge - bring your 2022 badge to complete it!</li><li>Tearing apart and building a computer</li><li>Scratch coding with Raspberry Pi</li><li>Snap Circuits</li><li>Electronic Graveyard</li><li>Coding Activities</li><li>Ethical Hacking</li><li>Lockpicking</li><li>Games and Puzzles</li></ul>This event is brought to you through a collaboration with Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) Cyber Center and Docent Institute.
