Town of Hempstead Beach Cleanups 2023-2024

Join the Atlantic Marine Conservation Society (AMSEAS) and the Town of Hempstead as we team up to host community beach cleanup events at local beaches from March through October!

The Atlantic Marine Conservation Society (AMSEAS) and the Town of Hempstead are partnering to host a community beach clean-up at Lido Beach Town Park.Join us for a beach clean-up at Lido Beach Town Park on Sunday, May 21, 2023, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Volunteers are able to sign up for a 1.5-hour time slot. Please only sign up for one time slot so that more people are able to participate and help clean up our environment.Clean-up supplies will be provided, but it is recommended that you bring your own gloves.Registration is required so that we may contact you if we need to cancel the event due to the weather. Parking fees will be waived for all registered participants.Please email response@amseas.org if you have any questions.We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, May 21th!
