The Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky (BIA) is your number one resource for finding local construction professionals, in both residential and commercial sectors. Celebrate Women in Construction Week by touring the Enzweiler Building Institute. We'll have activities for 5 yrs-16yr old girls to enjoy!

Women in Construction Open House

Description: Girls, teens, and women of all ages are welcome to join us for our Women in Construction Open House at the Enzweiler Building Institute in Erlanger on Saturday, March 11 from 9:30 am – Noon. Pre-registration is encouraged. Upon arrival our guests will check-in and will be led to one of three meeting spaces.
•	Women 18 yrs+: School Tour and a brief explanation of each lab lead by a female YP. For women who have children on-site you will be able to relax in one of our large conference room. We will have complimentary sweet breakfast treats, coffee, and water available. 
•	Girls 10 - 18 yrs: School Tour and a brief explanation lead by a female YP in each room; STEAM activity – Building a birdhouse in our carpentry lab.
•	NEW in 2023! Girls 5 yrs - 9 yrs: School Tour with a brief explanation lead by a female YP in each room. Reading of The House She Built by a woman who is currently in the skilled trades. Activities: 
1.	Coloring pages from The House She Built coloring book.
2.	Doing a STEM activity related to construction.
