Next Tier Connect @ Pittsburgh East

PRC’s Hard to Recycle Collection events are registration based. This allows us to control the flow of traffic into the event, ensuring an efficient and safe experience for the public and our staff and recycling partners. Tickets are available per person. Registration is in high demand, so please only register if you are certain you can attend. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your registration via the Eventbrite link, or email info@prc.org.While registration for this event is free, there is a $5 participation fee for the unlimited disposal of the following items:CPU (towers), laptops, mice, &amp; keyboards * Home phones &amp; cellphones * Tablets &amp; UPS, Servers, routers, &amp; modems * DVD Players, VCRs, &amp; stereos * Microwaves * Copiers &amp; scanners, Electronic cables * Video game consoles * Expanded Polystyrene packaging materialThe $5 participation fee will be waived if participants pay for disposal of TVs, printers, tires or other material listed under our fee sectionPlease see the list below for fees that will be charged on the day of the event.Acceptable Materials &amp; Associated FeesMaterials Collected for a FEE:<ul><li>All Computer Monitors (flat screen &amp; CRT) – $20 each</li></ul><ul><li>Televisions – $30 each</li></ul><ul><li>Console or Rear Projection TVs – $40 each</li></ul><ul><li>Printers – $5 each</li></ul><ul><li>Small Freon Containing Appliances (window ac units, dehumidifiers) $10 each</li></ul><ul><li>Fluorescent tubes - $2 per 4 foot tube</li></ul><ul><li>Tires (car/truck) - $5 without rims; $12 with rims</li></ul><ul><li>Hard Drive Data Destruction Verification -1 Drive $11.00 each</li></ul><ul><li>Hard Drive Data Destruction Verification -each additional drive after 1st $3 each</li></ul>Procedures &amp; Policies <ul><li>Payment is accepted via cash, debit or credit card</li></ul><ul><li>Place materials to be recycled in trunk or truck bed to provide adequate service</li></ul>Please remember to arrive on site 5-10 minutes prior to your allotted collection time. All participants who have a registered time slot are guaranteed the opportunity to turn over their materials. Those who are late will be processed when an open spot becomes available.We are NOT accepting batteries, CFLs and media (VHS, DVDs, Cassette tapes) at 2023 events to reduce the amount of contact between participants and event staff.Disclaimer: Pictures may be taken at PRC events to help document and promote our vital work.
