On Saturday, August 26th, The Water Ride will be taking place at Confluence Brewing Company and taking you around the Des Moines trails. Join us in riding for a cause, and help raise awareness and funds to support our water and education projects in Ghana, Africa. Show up around 11:00 a.m. to sign in or register and get your Water Ride gear.Start riding your bicycle at 12:00 p.m from Confluence with riders throughout the community. Over the past TEN years, the money raised through various Water Ride events have helped fund three wells and the creation of TMP Academy, a Primary school in Ghana. Our main objective now that clean water is accessible to the entire community, is to provide high-quality education to the children of Tsipasi. All proceeds from this event go directly to ensuring all students of TMP Academy have access to education when finances would otherwise be a barrier they are unable to get around. TMP Academy currently educates over 150 kids. To date, over $45,000 has been raised thanks to the amazing Water Ride community. Official 2023 Water Ride stops - Confluence Brewing Co. - 515 Brewing - Peace Tree Brewing DSMA big thanks as well to our sponsor, 818 for the logo design + shirts! For additional information, please visit http://themoveproject.org/thewaterrideQuestions?
